Rosa Klebb’s Broken Heart 💓🌹

What’s your poison? This drink commemorates Rosa Klebb’s last ditch attempt to get back at Bond for stealing Tatiana away from him (that’s how I see the end of From Russia With Love anyway…)

At the end of From Russia With Love, SPECTRE's No. 3 Rosa Klebb infiltrates Bond's hotel room posing as a maid. When she attacks Bond with her poison-tipped shoes it's Tatiana who shoots her dead. For Klebb, it's the ultimate betrayal: she has personal feelings towards Tatiana.

To encapsulate this moment pour 20ml each of Russian vodka (for Tatiana) and London dry gin (for Bond) into a cocktail shaker with ice and stir. Keep in the shaker for a moment.

Then, make the 'poison': into a shot glass pour 20ml each of cherry brandy and French (white) vermouth and add a couple of drops of rose water.

Strain the mixed vodka and gin into a cocktail glass, tip in the poison shot and garnish with a rose petal.

Be careful: like Klebb herself it packs a kick.
